February Event: February 9th New TSA Regulations, Body Scan Machines, and a 3 hour Tarmac Law . . . Shane Downey of NBTA is coming to explain and address the new laws in light of the security issues which occurred over the last few weeks. Shane will also discuss NBTA PAC and Chapter Challenge. We are sure this will be a very informative and educational program - one that cannot be missed. Hosted by the Doubletree Hotel, Norwalk, CT February 9th 11:30 Registration CWBTA will be collecting voluntary donations for the victims of the Haitian earthquake. All donations collected will be given to the American Red Cross.   In November, a few of our Board Members attended the NBTA Chapter Presidents Council Leadership Conference. The conference is designed to help chapters create more value for their members. Lectures and breakout sessions focus on lots of topics like program design and content, communication, administration, membership retention and recruitment, fundraising, governmental issues and more. Attending this year were Bob McKay, Robyn Hallock, Robin Buzzeo, Aileen Moriarity, and Mike Ferguson.
